The account

HelloCook is one account per household. The adult who creates it is responsible for who they invite and for the restrictions and goals set on each member. Children can use HelloCook when an adult on the account adds them.

The subscription

One subscription covers the whole household. A free trial runs for a full shopping cycle. The subscription renews through the App Store or Google Play and is cancelled there; cancelling keeps access until the end of the period already paid.

Food, allergies and health

HelloCook helps plan and cook meals. It is not a medical service and does not give medical advice. Critical allergies are validated in their own step, but the person cooking remains responsible for checking ingredients and labels. If someone in the household has a medical condition, follow the advice of their healthcare professional.

Your recipes

Recipes you add remain yours. You give us permission to store and process them to run HelloCook for your household. Only add content you are allowed to use; HelloCook keeps the original source attached so credit stays where it belongs.

Fair use

Don’t misuse the service, attempt to access other households’ data, or use HelloCook to produce content that is unlawful or harmful.
